Tilda with Hellebores

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a good week so far.

I made this card recently which is full of  beautiful goodies from the Ribbon Girl.

I stamped out another of my older Maggies, this one is  called Tilda with Hellebores, its another of my favourite images.  I have coloured her with DI reinkers in two of my favourite colour combos brown and pink and added some pink frantage around the outside. Once stamped I cut the oval shape with a Spellbinders oval die and added some ivory pearl string around the outside, then mounted the die cut onto a Joy Crafts die.

The butterfly border and butterflies are also Joy Crafts dies.

The flowers, gorgeous organza spot ribbon, pearl and diamante embellishment, loopy trim, lace, flowers, twine, pearl string, pearl trim and  beautiful pink heart applique are all from the Ribbon Girl. Links are at the bottom of this post, just click on a picture to be taken directly to the product.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Picked Raspberry
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Dress and Boots: Gathered Twigs, Black Soot
Hellebores: Victorian Velvet, Aged Mahogany

Tilda with Spring Flowers

Hi everyone,

I hope you have had a good weekend. It has been lovely and sunny here today.

I am popping in to share a shaker card I made recently.

I stamped up this sweet Tilda called Tilda with Spring Flowers and added some pink and ivory sequins for the shaker element which were a gift from a lovely crafting friend.

I stamped Tilda onto some Artiostico extra white watercolour paper with timber brown staz on ink and coloured her with DI reinkers. The final step was to sprinkle some pink frantage around the outside of the image and heat set it with a heat gun, before adding the sequins and acetate.

The shape of the card has been cut with a Go Kreate Flower die and the papers are by Maja from the Celebration collection which I have edged with white gesso.

The die cuts I have used on this card are cut from Joy Crafts and Fantasy dies.

Most of the beautiful flowers, ribbon, pearl trim and pearl and diamante flower are from the

 DI list
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Gathered Twigs, Walnut Stain
Dress: Victorian Velvet
Flowers: Dusty Concord, Shabby Shutters, Forest Moss

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.

Sending Wishes

Hi everyone,

I hope you enjoyed the extended weekend if you are in the U.K. Crikey it was glorious weather, if a little too hot for me. It was a fairly relaxing weekend. Phil and I went on a 7.5 mile bike ride this morning, but that was early before it became too hot. The rest of time I was either in my craft room or sat in the shade doing some crocheting.

I am popping in to share another Polkadoodles card, I am really enjoying colouring up these cute images. This gorgeous stamp is called 'Sending Wishes'.

I painted the image with DI reinkers and wanted the colour to be quite soft.

The flowers in the two corners, the postcard and the postage stamps are from a Stempelglede 'Postcard from Paris' set of stamps. Tucked underneath the postage card is a Fantasy doily die cut. The birch leaves are also cut from a Fantasy die.

The small pink envelope has been cut from a Woodware punch.

The lace, silver butterfly and pearl trim are from the Ribbon Girl. The pink organza ribbon is from my stash, but the RG have lots of beautiful ribbons to choose from.

DI list:
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique Linen
Dress, Shoes and Bows: Victorian Velvet
Envelope: Hickory Smoke, Black Soot

That's all from me today.

Thank you for popping in.
